Brittany has fourteen years of experience in pediatric Speech-Language Pathology. Brittany received her certificate of clinical competence from The American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the states of Connecticut and New York. Prior to starting WordPlay, Brittany worked at a pediatric Speech-Language Pathology private practice in the greater Boston area, for six plus years, where she was promoted to an Associate Director Position. Brittany, lead and supported a team of Speech-Language Pathologists, while simultaneously continuing to evaluate and treat patients.
During Brittany’s fourteen years of experience as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, she has worked with children ranging in age 14 months, to 14 years, with a variety of speech and language delays and disorders, and underlying diagnoses. She provides thorough evaluations, and intensive, effective one to one treatment sessions. Brittany is passionate about helping children achieve their communication goals through playful, engaging, personalized activities. She is excited about the opportunity to provide quality speech-language therapy services to help each of her patients and in turn, their families. Brittany’s engaging, hardworking, caring and encouraging personality is evident in each interaction she has with her patients and families.
In addition to one to one treatment sessions, Brittany is also a skilled facilitator of social-pragmatic group therapy sessions. This group-based setting allows Brittany to help children with social-pragmatic and language disorders to use language and play-skills appropriately in a functional context, during cooperative play with peers.
Brittany is a PROMPT trained therapist, who has also studied the Michelle Garcia Winner “Social Thinking” curriculum, DIR/Floortime and Reading with TLC, during her continued education.
Prior to starting her career in Pediatric Speech-Language Pathology, Brittany graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Brittany was chosen to enroll in an accelerated program which allowed her to continue her studies at Northeastern, earning a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. Throughout her academic career at Northeastern, Brittany maintained a 3.9 GPA. Brittany was inducted into the Bouve School of Health Sciences Honors society, an award given to students in the top five percent of their class.
Brittany resides in Connecticut with her husband and three young children. Brittany's hobbies include long distance running and practicing yoga. Brittany has run the Boston Marathon twice, along with a number of half marathons, within the northeast.

Leah is an enthusiastic, devoted and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist and educator, with many years of experience working in the public school setting. Leah has worked in skilled rehabilitation, private practice, early intervention before eventually settling into the public school setting. She loves enabling students; helping them to find their voice, develop their understanding of language and teaching them to more successfully advocate for themselves throughout their home and school day.
Leah has experience working with children with articulation, phonological, motor planning, expressive, receptive, social pragmatic and fluency needs. She has worked with children learning to use a variety of augmentative and alternative communication devices as well. Leah’s practice is rooted in compassion and evidence based practice; she focuses on treating the child, while also supporting families and including them in a team approach.
In her spare time, Leah loves to cook, walk her dogs on the beach and ride her Peloton!

Kaylie also has AAC experience with Proloquo2go and low tech communication boards. Kaylie has experience working collaboratively alongside several allied health care and educational professionals including social workers, occupational therapists, physical therapists, music therapists, special education teachers and school psychologists. Kaylie has a particular interest in working alongside and coaching the families of her patients, to support their child’s speech and language development. Kaylie enjoys incorporating play, literacy support and incidental teaching within her fun, engaging sessions.

Emma has experience evaluating and treating children who present with receptive and expressive language delays, speech sound disorders, fluency disorders, social pragmatic language delays, hearing loss, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), emotional/behavioral regulation difficulties, sensory/behavioral feeding difficulties, infant dysphasia, as well as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) users.
Emma strives for opportunities to expand her knowledge and expertise, and truly values the importance of collaborating with other professionals. Emma is highly motivated to empower children as they learn and grow. She has assisted students with “How I Communicate” presentations/handouts to share with classmates and/or teachers to assist with their development of self-advocacy skills. In addition, she loves to share fun ideas of activities that families can do to promote carryover at home... language is EVERYWHERE! In her spare time, Emma loves spending time with friends and family, working out, reading
on the beach, and traveling to new places.

She has experience evaluating and treating children as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a variety of areas including motor speech disorders (e.g., Childhood Apraxia of Speech), articulation-phonology disorders, feeding, fluency disorders (stuttering), AAC, receptive language, expressive language, and pragmatic language delays and disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Courtney has particular interests in Autism Spectrum Disorder, challenging behaviors, motor speech disorders, and expressive language delays. She is passionate about working with families and caregivers, to provide strategies and coaching, to allow for the greatest carryover. Courtney received her certificate of clinical competence from The American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), and is licensed to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the states of Connecticut and New York.
Courtney has experience working in public and private schools, early intervention (EI, birth to three services), outpatient clinics, home-based settings, and skilled nursing facilities. She has experience evaluating and treating children as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a variety of areas including motor speech disorders (e.g., Childhood Apraxia of Speech), articulation-phonology disorders, feeding, fluency disorders (stuttering), AAC, receptive language, expressive language, and pragmatic language delays and disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Courtney has particular interests in Autism Spectrum Disorder, challenging behaviors, motor speech disorders, and expressive language delays. She is passionate about working with families and caregivers, to provide strategies and coaching, to allow for the greatest carryover. Courtney believes effective therapy starts with establishing a solid rapport. She loves to keep therapy fun and fast paced. She is highly adept at thinking on her toes and changing things as needed, based on her client’s needs.
In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, English Bulldog, and cat. She also enjoys working out, playing sports, traveling, and spending time outdoors.

Bridget Cronin, M.S., CCC-SLP is an ASHA certified and Massachusetts state licensed speech language pathologist, specializing in pediatric feeding disorders, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Early Intervention (children age 0-3). Graduating from Miami University (Oxford, OH) with a Bachelor of Science in Speech-LanguagePathology & Audiology and the University of New Hampshire with a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Bridget spent the majority of her clinical experience and studies focusing on the pediatric population. She is also a graduated trainee through the LEND program. The LEND program offers advanced interdisciplinary training in preparation for work with individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities and their families. Through this program, Bridget attended the 2019 Disability Policy Seminar in Washinton, D.C. acting as an advocate for disability rights, meeting and presenting with NH leaders on Capitol Hill regarding current policy.
Through experiences in graduate school and professionally, Bridget has gained experience in the following settings; private practice outpatient clinic, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) centers, private subseparate school programs for students with neurodevelopmental disabilities, public schools and trauma-informed therapeutic day programs.
Currently, Bridget most frequently evaluates and provides targeted interventions for; expressive/receptive language, AAC, pediatric feeding difficulties, ARFID, challenging behaviors, apraxia of speech, articulation, pragmatic language, early intervention (EI, 0-3), stuttering, counseling and parent and family education. Taking a Total Communication Approach to therapy sessions, Bridget enjoys incorporating play and modeling within her sessions, utilizing engaging and interactive materials. She tailors her sessions to the interests and motivations of each client, while focusing on what is most functional in a creative way. Bridget enjoys working with families to meet them where they are at, and to provide support to help encourage generalization of acquired skills across settings.
In addition to her proficiency evaluating, editing, training, and incorporating speech generating devices (SGD) in therapy sessions, Bridget is also Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) trained.
Bridget enjoys acting as a graduate student practicum supervisor for students attending Boston area graduate school programs.
When she is not in the clinic, Bridget loves to spend time with family, travel to the Midwest to visit friends, and challenge her cooking skills in the kitchen. She is so excited to be a part of the WordPlay team!

A career focus for Amanda includes providing skilled training for teachers, administrators, therapists, parents and caregivers on the use of AAC and fostering an environment for learning that promotes independence, self-advocacy, and determination. Additional special interests include gender-affirming voice therapy.
