Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), often have difficulties in areas of language, social-interactive skills and behavior. Speech-Language Therapy is a crucial part of a therapy program for children with Autism. Speech Language Therapy can help children with Autism understand and use words, follow directions, understand others' perspectives, play with and get along with others, use AAC to communicate, ask or answer questions, initiate or terminate conversation with others, take turns in conversation, work on reading and writing, among many other skills.
